Accommodations

We are excited to partner with the beautiful and historic Fairmont Hotel in downtown Dallas. Our hotel block is from Monday, August 24th through Thursday, August 27th. This block includes rates from $159.00 per night for both King and 2 Queen rooms. Additionally, if you would like to come early or stay late, the same rate will be honored for 3 nights before and after the block. Staying at the Fairmont keeps you right in the heart of the Summit experience, making it easy to connect with fellow church partners, ministry partners, and the TouchPoint team throughout the week.

Queen Room

The hotel is conveniently located one block from First Baptist Dallas. Beat the heat and make an easy walk even easier by taking the underground tunnel between the two! (The tunnel is wide, well-lit, and adorned with art.)

Fairmont to First Dallas

Get your morning started right with coffee from the spacious Starbucks located in the Fairmont lobby. There’s also an onsite restaurant and plenty of seating sprawling across the main floor.

Tuesday: Welcome Dinner

Summit Welcome Dinner

At the conclusion of our first day, we will head back to the Fairmont Dallas for our Welcome Dinner and optional games. Wednesday: Sixth Floor Museum

JFK

Located in the former Texas School Book Depository, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza offers a meaningful look into one of the most pivotal moments in American history. Overlooking the very site where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, the museum combines historical artifacts, photographs, and immersive exhibits that tell the story of his life, legacy, and the events of November 22, 1963.

This group visit provides a shared cultural experience that naturally invites conversation and connection. As you explore the exhibits together, there will be space to reflect, discuss, and engage with fellow Summit attendees in a setting that is both thought-provoking and uniquely Dallas. It’s an excellent opportunity to step away from the conference setting, deepen relationships, and enjoy meaningful dialogue alongside peers.

Location:

411 Elm Street

Dallas, TX 75202

Please visit this page to learn more about getting to the museum. The Summit team did a combination of walking and taking the DART. There are plenty of area restaurants to enjoy independent dinners before/after the museum.

Time:

Our group will visit the museum in two waves following dinner, with both time slots reserved as private tour experiences exclusively for our Summit group. The first group will enter from 6:00–7:15 PM, followed by a second private tour from 7:30–9:00 PM. Please select your desired wave during registration.

Price:

$35/person

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend?

This Summit will have tracks with information suitable for the Executive Pastor, Database Admins, CFO/Finance Team, Developers, Ministry Front Lines (children’s/missions/small groups/congregational care), Communications Teams, and those who are New To TouchPoint.

Is there bus service this year?

With the Fairmont Dallas one block away from First Dallas, we will not need buses this year! It’s a brief one-block walk (using sidewalks or via well-lit underground tunnels). This provides an easy commute for getting to/from the conference each day and to/from the Welcome Dinner.

DART stations are located throughout Dallas and cost just $3 per person per journey. This is a great option for getting between the airports, church/hotel, and Sixth Floor Museum. Please reach out to your Summit team if you have any questions regarding transportation.

What does the base ticket price include?

The base ticket price includes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday sessions and all meals and snacks at the church.

When do I need to arrive?

Our event kicks off Tuesday morning at 10:00am. You may fly/drive in the night before or Tuesday morning. Our hotel block includes Monday evening.

What airport do you recommend?

There are two great airports available:

DFW Airport

This airport is further away but an easy commute with a $3 DART ticket. This is the route your Summit team tested, and it took us about 1 hour to get between the airport and church/hotel.

Dallas Love Field

This airport is very close to downtown Dallas. With just one transfer between a bus and DART to get between the airport and church/hotel, it’s also an easy commute.

What is the dress code?

People in the past have worn a range from business casual to smart casual clothing. Blue jeans are appropriate — whatever will make you feel comfortable and ready to engage.

All after-hours events are also casual, so whatever you plan for the day will be suitable for evening activities. Please keep in mind that we may be outdoors for a small portion of time while transitioning between locations.

What do I need to know about food?

Each morning, a light breakfast is provided at the church. We will also provide lunch and snacks all three days. Our Tuesday Welcome Dinner will be held at the end of the first day. Wednesday evening offers free time for dinner. You may choose to grab dinner with your team or others from the event.

Where should my team and I stay?

Please check the Accommodations section above. We have a hotel block with the Fairmont Dallas.

Will there be a place to store our luggage?

Yes! If you decide to come directly to First Dallas Tuesday morning, we will have a room reserved for luggage. We will also have a space reserved for luggage on Thursday.

I’m trying to register, but TouchPoint doesn’t recognize my credentials.

While Summit registrations are occurring inside of TouchPoint, the Summit database is not tied to any other church’s database. It will not recognize your login credentials (unless you have registered previously), and you will need to create an account if you would like to have one inside of the Summit database.
