Of course, the TouchPoint Summit buses will get you there!

Individual Dinners

Wednesday – 4:30pm to 6:00pm
The Summit buses will head to two Vestavia Hills neighborhoods for you to grab dinner with your team and/or Summit friends. Our buses will head back to the church after dinner to continue the Wednesday evening fun!

Game Night

Wednesday – 6:30pm to 8:30pm
After the Individual Dinners, the Summit buses will bring you back to Vestavia Hills Methodist Church to play some games! More details to come on this FREE event! At 8:30pm, buses will head back to the hotels.

Frequently Asked Questions

This Summit will have tracks with information suitable for the Executive Pastor, Database Admins, CFO/Finance Team, Developers, Ministry Front Lines (children’s/missions/small groups/congregational care), Communications Teams, and those who are New To TouchPoint.

Tell me more about this bus service!

Unlike last year, the buses this year are 54-passenger vans (not small shuttles). The buses will provide transportation service between the church and hotels (Embassy Suites and Courtyard). The buses will do pickups from the hotels Tuesday through Thursday and transport guests to the church for the day’s sessions. The buses will return to the hotels Tuesday afternoon, then transport guests to the Welcome Dinner, and finally back to the hotels. On Wednesday afternoon, the buses will take guests to two neighborhoods (details coming soon!) for dinner, back to the church for Game Night, and then to the hotels. On Thursday afternoon, the buses will provide transportation to Birmingham Airport after all sessions conclude. There is no additional cost for taking advantage of the bus service. Buses will depart at scheduled times (times will be announced as the agenda unfolds). Important note: there is limited seating on the buses. Please select the bus options you will need at the time of registering.

What does the base ticket price include?

The base ticket price includes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday sessions, all meals at the church, transportation as specified in the “Tell me more about this bus service” question above, and Wednesday evening’s Game Night.

When do I need to arrive?

Our sessions begin Tuesday morning at 10:15am. You may fly/drive in the night before or Tuesday morning. Our hotel block includes Monday evening.

What airport do you recommend?

Birmingham International Airport. Learn more about the airport here.

What is the dress code?

People in the past have worn a range from business casual to smart casual clothing. Blue jeans are appropriate whatever will make you feel comfortable and ready to engage.

All after-hours events are also casual, so whatever you plan for the day will be suitable for evening activities. Please keep in mind that some evening activities will be outdoors.

What do I need to know about food?

Each morning, breakfast is provided by your hotel. Embassy Suites offers a complimentary breakfast, and Courtyard provides a cafe. We will provide lunch and snacks all three days. Our Tuesday Welcome Dinner will be held at the end of the first day. Wednesday evening offers free time for dinner. You may choose to grab dinner with your team or others from the event. We invite you to join us back at the church for another networking event, TouchPoint Summit’s first Game Night!

Is it possible to pay separately for the Welcome Dinner?

Yes, we are able to accommodate for separate payment options if you need to pay for the Welcome Dinner using a different credit card. Please email summit@touchpointsoftware.com for more information.

Where should my team and I stay?

We have a Summit Courtesy Rate with Embassy Suites and Courtyard by Marriott. We will provide complimentary bus service to/from the hotels daily.

Will there be a place to store our luggage?

Yes! If you decide to come directly to Vestavia Hills Methodist Church Tuesday morning, we will have a room reserved for luggage. We will also have a space reserved for luggage on Thursday.

I’m trying to register, but TouchPoint doesn’t recognize my credentials.

While Summit registrations are occurring inside of TouchPoint, the Summit database is not tied to any other church’s database. It will not recognize your login credentials (unless you have registered previously), and you will need to create an account if you would like to have one inside of the Summit database.
